Daily Bread Bible Notes 4

[this is good]
I used to work delivering papers early in the morning on a motor route for extra cash a few years ago, and I would stop at Krispy Kreme Doughnuts on the way home and get me a cup of coffee, and I would pay for the person behind mes order, and just tell the checkout lady , to tell them - to have a blessed day! I did this for some time, it made me feel good, I never told my name.

I remember my wife doing this at the supermarket several times when the people in front of her were short a couple of dollars. You could see the anguish in their faces as they were trying to figure to put back the milk or the bread, thinking they had so carefully counted up their bill. My wife stepped forward and handed the cashier whatever was needed, no questions asked. The look in their faces turns from anguish, humiliation and pain to the complete opposite. They have hope. Hope is worth more than all the money you have, but it doesn't take much money to help someone go from dismay to hope..

Excellent idea to pay it backward.

It's a fantastic idea. I have been doing it for years now. I have paid for someone's gas, groceries when they are short, clothes for kids and their parents, the car behind me at the fast food restaurant, gift cards for groceries and just give them out. It's endless in what you can do for others and not want to get credit for it because it's Gods goodness and not my own.

Keep up the great work and sharing it with others. Hopefully it WILL catch on in Jesus Name.

God Bless,
