Christ defeated death on mortality’s own turf, declaring the power of God to give us new life and hope. Paul wrote “He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you” (Romans 8:11).
Thank you for this , I needed to read this again today. My good friend, Jennifer Norris, a nurse where I work, was murdered by her husband yesterday. I know she will live again. My heart is sad and I have been crying for her, she was only 23 years old. Oh- elsalioness, sometimes this world is so cruel, and full of so much evil, and so full of hate and war, it makes me sad. But, I know what lies ahead, will be a life with the Lord one day!
